The interrior was very luxury

The Corvette Sting Ray of 1963 to 1964 :

1963 :

The gorgeous Sting Ray was launched in 1963.

A two passenger coupe body style joined the convertible for the first time with a split rear-window design.

The Corvette featured an independent rear suspension, fuel-injection, knock off wheels and a racing option.

The racing option called "Z-06" consisted of a fuel-injected 327 cid V8, 36.5 gallon fuel tank, heavy-duty brakes, heavy-duty suspension, and knock-off wheels.

Luxury options such as power steering, air conditioning, and leather seats were available for the first time on Corvettes.

1964 :

saw several improvements such as higher horsepower "fuelie" engine options, a smoother ride, and better insulation.

Because owners of 1963 Corvettes complained about rear visibility, Duntov lobbied against the split-window saying it harmed outward vision, while Bill Mitchell huffed "If you take that off you might as well forget the whole thing" Duntov ultimatly win.

The hardtop lost its split rear-window design in favor of a more conventional single-piece rear window.
